Tour Details

Day 01: Chennai (Welcome to Chennai)

Your journey to South India starts from today. At the time of your arrival at Chennai International Airport, you will be welcomed and assisted by our executive and thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel. After that, you can spend time resting in the hotel or in addition to visiting the surrounding areas.

Day 02: Chennai - Mahabalipuram (Your First Taste of India) (56 km/ 1.5 hrs)

After having breakfast this morning, we will start our tour of North India with a visit to Kapaleeshwar Temple. This beautiful temple is the temple of Lord Shiva which was built in the seventh century. Beautiful and intricate Dravidian architecture is used in this temple. After this, we will travel to Mahabalipuram and stop at Kanchipuram on the way. In Kanchipuram, we will visit the local and famous temples here. In the late afternoon, you will reach Mahabalipuram and spend the rest of the time roving in the surrounding places.

Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (Pondicherry Rickshaw Ride) (95 km/ 1.8 hrs)

Today we will go for the best sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram. First of all, you will see the famous five chariots ho, which is made of intricate sculpting on granite stones. This place was built in the seventh century and is known as the austerity side of Arjuna. You will finally visit Mandapam in Mahabalipuram. After this, we will leave for Pondicherry and reach the Auroville Ashram in the afternoon and visit the local sightseeing there. In the evening, they will step into the local markets and see what different types of goods are sent by local vendors to their breasts. Apart from this, you will also experience a spectacular ride of rickshaw here.

Day 04: Pondicherry - Tanjore (Explore Stunning Hindu Architecture) (168.5 km/ 4 hrs)

After breakfast in the morning, we will travel to Tanjore and on the way will visit the temples of Chidambaram Swamimalai and Gangaikonda Cholapuram which were built in the medieval period. Later, we will check in the hotel after reaching Tanjore. Afternoon you will visit Brihadeshwara Temple, were beautiful and stunning architecture and intricate sculptures are located and the structures here are famous from far and wide.

Day 05: Tanjore - Madurai (Visit The Ancient Temples of Trichy) (189 km/ 3 hrs)

After breakfast, we will travel to Madurai and on the way stop for the city at Tiruchirapalli or also known as Trichy and visit the Srirangam temple here which is built in Tamil style. Rockfort temple located in Trichy will also be visited, which is a beautiful temple built on top of a big rock. After reaching Madurai in the afternoon, we will check into the hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, the main attraction of Madurai will visit the Meenakshi temple and will also participate in the evening aarti ceremony.

Day 06: Madurai (Wander through an Indian Market)

After breakfast in the morning, you will visit the magnificent Tirumalai-Nayakar Mahal, which is made from a mixture of Islamic and Dravidian styles. The archives and architecture of this place were built in the 17thcentury. After this, you will visit the Vandiyur Mariamman Temple which is dedicated to the Goddess of Rain in Hinduism. In the evening, you will see the movement of local markets.

Day 07: Madurai - Periyar (Cruise through Periyar National Park) (225 km/ 6.2 hrs)

In the morning Periyar will travel to National Park. This 900 square km national park is a tiger and elephant conservation site. The city of this national park offers a great opportunity to get in touch with the wild creatures and birds of India. In the afternoon, you will take a boat ride in the lake located in the middle of the park and will also see rare tree plants and aquatic birds located on the shore here. In the evening, he will attend a martial arts show called Kalaripayattu.

Day 08: Periyar (Spend Time with Elephants)

Having breakfast in the morning will provide an opportunity to meet the elephants and understand them closely. After breakfast, a half-day tour will be to spend time with these innocent gray giants. You can ride on elephant back here, get them instituted and help prepare food for them. Here you will also get an opportunity to do beautiful colorful painting on the body of elephants according to the ancient traditions of South India. In the afternoon we will visit the coffee and spice gardens. In the evening you will go to a local family house for a cooking demonstration. Here you will be taught how to cook specific dishes of India. By learning this skill, when you go to your home, you can use this skill to impress your family and friends.

Day 09: Periyar - Alleppey (Live on a Houseboat for a Day) (98 km/ 3 hrs)

In the morning, after breakfast in the hotel, you will travel to the Alleppey. Alleppey is also called "Venice of the East" and by this surname, you must have understood that it is a city grid of canals and backwaters. Get here and check-in your houseboat. Spend the afternoon on the roof of the houseboat looking at the beautiful views around. Dinner will be served in the houseboat itself and after this, have a comfortable night at the houseboat.

Day 10: Alleppey - Cochin (Visit a Jewish Synagogue and a Dutch Palace) (53kms/ 1.5 Hrs)

After breakfast in the morning will go to Cochin and first visit the synagogue called Jewish Paradise. This synagogue was built in 1568. The people of the Jewish community who live here also speak Spanish who were elected from Syria. After that, we will visit the Dutch Palace which is a magnificent building and there is a picture gallery. This picture gallery contains the most valuable mythological paintings of India. In the afternoon, you will see the program of Kathakali dance which is the most breathtaking dance art of the state of Kerala.

Day 11: Depart (Bye Bye, India)

After breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to Cochin International Airport. From here you can fly to your forward destination. With this, this is the end of your beautiful journey and you will return to your home with beautiful memories. We will wait for you to return to visit another destination in India.
