Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Today you will arrive at Delhi International Airport. Arrival will be provided with the necessary assistance. After this, you will be transferred to your hotel by sitting in a comfortable car. The rest of the time you spend time in the dazzling local markets around Delhi and enjoy a variety of delicious dishes here.
Day 02: Delhi – Bagdogra (By Flight) – and drive to Gangtok
After breakfast this morning you will be transferred to Delhi Airport from where you will fly to Bagdogra. On reaching Bagdogra our executive will receive you and you will be transferred to Gangtok in a comfortable car. Gangtok is 125 km from Bagdogra and the journey will take 4 hours. After reaching Gangtok, you will check-in your hotel and after that, you will still have enough time to roam in the local markets.
Day 03: Sight-seeing of Gangtok (No cycling)
Today you will visit major sightseeing places in Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim state. After having breakfast, you will first start a sightseeing tour from the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. This splendid mansion, built-in satiety, is the form of a very large museum containing collections of works related to Tibetan culture, books, religious paintings, objects of Tantric rituals and rare manuscripts associated with Buddhism. After this, you will visit (Tsuk-la-Khang) which is the Royal Chapel related to Buddhism and see the huge store of Buddhist scriptures kept there. After this, you will visit the Enchey Ministry located 3 kilometers from the city of Gangtok. This beautiful ancient monastery was built in 1909. From this place, you will also be able to see the beautiful views of the Kanchenjunga Mountains all around you.
Day 04: Gangtok to Martam Village (Cycling 38 km approx.)
In the morning, after having breakfast, you will travel cycling to Martam village. To get to this beautiful village, your route first descends into the valley below. On the way, you will pass through beautiful paddy fields and see many beautiful views of natural beauty. Martam village has a prominent monastery of Sikkim state named Rumtek Monastery which was built in 1960 by the late Gayaala His Holiness Karmapa. The monastery is also believed to be the seat of the third-highest monk Karmapa Lama. Some of the world's unique artifacts, religious objects, ancient manuscripts, and icons are kept at this place. After climbing a small rocky mountain climb you reach the village of Martam where rice is cultivated in the fertile soil. After reaching here, you will check in the resort and from there you will see the view of the paddy-laden fields in a wide valley and the hills covered with beautiful forests.
Day 05: Martam to Ravangla via Temi Tea Garden (Cycling 35 km approx)
Today you will go to a new place Ravangla village, passing through the magnificent routes of Sikkim. While cycling you will pass through the terraced village on the way, then you will get to see the amazing landscape there. On the way you will reach Temi Tea Garden, the only tea plantation in the state of Sikkim and a small beautiful waterfall is also present here. The village is situated on the Kanchenjunga Mountain and from here one can see the amazing views of the Himalayan Mountains. Ravangla village is famous only for the beautiful views of nature.
Day 06: Ravangla to Yuksom (Cycling 50 km approx)
Today after breakfast you will be biking to a place called Yuksom. Continuing biking on this path, you will reach the Tashiding Monastery. This monastery in the state of Sikkim is highly revered and is situated above the Rathore and Rangit rivers. It is believed that even a small glimpse of this ministry, all the sins of humans is forgiven. Here you will also see views of beautiful wide rice fields. You will cross the waterfall before reaching Yuksom. The word Yuksom means the union of three great lamas. The village is also a major center for trekking adventure enthusiasts. Arriving here, you first check into the hotel. After this, you will visit the Dabri Monastery built here in 1700. For this, you will have to travel for about 1 hour from Yuksom village.
Day 07: Yuksom to Pelling (Cycling 35 km approx)
Today you will be cycling and traveling to Pelling village. Today's cycle tour is small but will be very challenging. To get to the village of Pelling, you will descend into the valley below the roads like a rollercoaster and also cross some magnificent waterfalls. In the Pelling Valley, you will see many terraced paddy fields with beautiful landscapes. You arrive at Pelling and check into the hotel. Spend the rest of the day wandering in this small town.
Day 08: Pelling to Rinchenpong (Cycling 42 km approx)
After breakfast this morning you will be cycling towards Rinchenpong. The famous Pemyangtse Monastery is present in this village named In Rinchenpong and is located about 107 km west of Gangtok. This monastery is the oldest monastery in the state and is also very important religiously. This monastery, like other items of Sikkim, is subject to the Nigma Order. By reaching here, you will be able to see the beautiful landscape of Mount Khangchendzonga.
Day 09: Rinchenpong to Nayabazar (Cycling 35Kms approx) & drive to Darjeeling
Today, while cycling, you will travel towards the village called Nayabazar. On the way, you will once again pass through the villages with beautiful rice fields and huts. Finally, when you reach the Nayabazar, in this bustling beautiful village, you are abandoning for a bicycle ride. From here onwards, you will take a car ride to a hill tourist place called Darjeeling in West Bengal. This beautiful place is full of picturesque natural scenes in the lap of the Himalayas and is also famous for its tea gardens.
Day 10: Sight-seeing of Darjeeling (No cycling)
Today you will be staying at the sightseeing places of Darjeeling. Darjeeling is famous worldwide for its tea and the toy train that climbs here is a UNESCO Heritage property. You will first go to Tiger Hill, located 13 km from here. From here you will also get a panoramic view of Mount Everest. After spending some time visiting the natural scenery here, you will visit a museum called Himalayan Mountaineering Institute which was built by the late Tenzing Norgay Sherpa who along with Sir Edmund Hillary first conquered Mount Everest. Here you will see many tools used for mountaineering. After this, you will go to a zoological garden where you will get an opportunity to see much beautiful wildlife like Yak Siberian tiger Red Panda. Finally, you will visit the beautiful tea gardens of Darjeeling.
Day 11: Darjeeling to Kurseong via Old Military Road (Cycling 36 km approx)
Today you will go cycling from Darjeeling to Kurseong. On the way, you will pass through a winding road and you will be able to see the views of beautiful tea gardens. You will also see the beautiful view of Maitreya Buddha by reaching Kurseong. Before reaching here, you go through small waterfalls and ancient conifer forests. Passing through here, you will see people hanging baskets on their back, and taking tea leaves. On reaching Kurseong you will check-in at your hotel and enjoy a delicious tea. After this, you will go for a beautiful view of the plantation.
Day 12: Drive Kurseong - Bagdogra and fly to Delhi
Today you will be transferred to Bagdogra Airport after having breakfast in the morning. From here you will fly to Delhi and fire will be transferred to the hotel after reaching Delhi. Spend the rest of the time walking and shopping in the beautiful markets around.
Day 13: Departure from Delhi
After breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport. From here you will be able to take a flight to your next destination.
