Rajasthan heritage cycle tour with the jungle safari

Tour Overview

In this cycling tour, you will visit some famous cultural cities of North India and see the grandeur of ancient monuments of India. In this biking tour, you will see the beautiful traditions of historical cities located in the deserts of Delhi, Agra, and Rajasthan and also see the colors of local life in many rural areas and streets in these places. The tour will also take you to the forests of Ranthambore National Park where you will be able to see the Royal Bengal Tiger and other wild animals. Apart from this, you will also visit the Taj Mahal, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You will see fort palaces and other ancient structures in an ancient city made of red sandstone like Fatehpur Sikri. The most important attraction of this tour will be the city of Jaipur where you will get to see every color of Rajasthani culture and you will be able to see many other beautiful monuments such as Amber Fort, City Palace, and Hawa Mahal, etc.

Tour Details

Day 01: Join tour in Delhi. Optional afternoon sightseeing tour

Today you will arrive at Delhi International Airport and at that time our representative will welcome you and provide you with the necessary support. If you have time available which will depend on your flight then you can also do sightseeing in Delhi. You can visit Jama Masjid in Old Delhi or roam in the dazzle of a traditional market like Chandni Chowk. Apart from this, you can visit the India Gate of New Delhi and see other ancient buildings of the British period located here.

Day 02: Drive to Agra. Visit Agra Fort, sunset at the Taj Mahal

This morning you will travel by car from Delhi to Agra. Agra is one of the major tourist places in India and is also known for the beautiful Taj Mahal. On reaching here, you will first visit the Red Fort of Agra, which is a pleasure protective and very huge fort made of 20 meter high walls. Many palaces, gardens, mosques, halls and many beautiful structures are built inside it. At sunset in the evening, you will go to see the Taj Mahal. This beautiful structure is made of white marble and beautiful carvings made on it cannot be compared to anyone. This beautiful monument was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz and hence it is also considered a symbol of love. Today, you will not do any cycling. Your cycling tour is going to start from the next day, in which you will travel an average of 56 kilometers every day, cycling for 6 hours every day.

Day 03: Visit the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. Cycle backroads through rural India to Bharatpur

This morning you will be transferred from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri car. Fatehpur Sikri is an ancient desert town that was built as a capital during the Mughal period but was again shifted to Delhi due to a huge lack of water. But even today, many structures built inside the fort, palace, and fort of Fatehpur Sikri are preserved. The major attraction here is the Buland Darwaza which is the largest gateway in the world. From here you will start your cycling tour today; you will travel to Bharatpur by cycling on the roads passing through the rural areas of India. On the way you will reach Bharatpur by evening passing through attractive villages, waving fields and colorful traffic. By reaching Bharatpur, you can enjoy the local cuisine here. The chicken tikka, paneer tikka, mango soup, and Rajasthani thali, etc. are very famous here. To reach Bharatpur, you will be cycling for about 34 kilometers.

Day 04: Pedal through scenic villages, agricultural land and past red-sandstone quarries to Karauli.

This morning you will take a bicycle ride to see Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Riding on your bicycle, you will be able to see birds of many species while visiting this sanctuary. Here you will also see mainly rare Siberian cranes. After this, you will cycle and traveling through small roads through the middle of the beautiful village and agricultural land. You will find yourself surrounded by fruits and vegetables like fennel, onion, sweet potato, etc. in the surroundings of beautiful fields. In this area, you will also be able to see the red sandstone, from which grand buildings like the Red Fort and Rashtrapati Bhavan have been constructed. Here you will pass through a place called Karauli where these red sandstone mines are located. In this way, you will reach Ranthambore by evening while enjoying your bicycle ling. Today, together, you will cover approximately 70 kilometers by cycling.

Day 05: Cycle to Ranthambore National Park home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles

Today you will take a cycling tour near India's best wildlife sanctuary, which is a conservation site for tigers. You will follow a series of cross country tracks made by a quiet road. This road was built by the Maharajas of Jaipur for their personal use and protection. Today you will be cycling for about 40 kilometers.

Day 06: Game drive in Ranthambore National Park. Search for big cats in the former royal hunting ground

Today you will visit Jungle Safari in Ranthambore National Park. Apart from the Bengal tiger, leopards, crocodiles, and birds of about 300 species are found in this huge sanctuary of 400 square kilometers. The area also includes a beautiful Firoza Lake and an ancient temple. Ranthambore National Park also has ruins of some old forts and palaces that the Maharaja used as a hunting ground. You won't do any cycling today.

Day 07: Cycle through villages. Sleep in a Maharaja's Palace

This morning you will reach Lalsot by riding in a car for about 50 kilometers. From here you will start your cycle journey and see many beautiful temples passing through the fields and settlements of the village. Tonight, where you will stay, is an ancient palace built by Maharaja Krishna Chandra Pal. The Maharaja's family still lives here and this beautiful palace has now been converted into a hotel. You can spend the rest of the time decorating the beautiful walls inside this palace and wandering in the surrounding grounds and gardens. Today you will be cycling for about 65 kilometers.

Day 08: Ride on quiet countryside roads with views of hill-top forts silhouetted against the sky to Jaipur

Today, you will start cycling from your hotel and travel to Jaipur. You will reach Jaipur passing through small villages and fields. On the way, you will pass through the roads covered with lush green trees on the small hills and you will find yourself falling from the kilo built on the peaks of the mountains around you. By reaching Jaipur in the evening, you can participate in a cooking demonstration as per your wish. Today you will travel about 75 kilometers cycling.

Day 09: Visit Jaipur's Amber Fort and City Palace

After breakfast this morning you will be cycling to Amber Fort. Amber Fort is 12 km from Jaipur and is a huge and impregnable fort built on a hill. Here you will see beautiful palaces built behind the high walls of the fort. They have been beautifully carved in beautiful palaces and there is also a beautiful museum of ancient weapons, ornaments, and antiques. By noon you will return to Jaipur and after that, you will visit the great monuments like City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar in Jaipur. Today you will be cycling for about 25 kilometers.

Day 10: Trip ends Jaipur

Today this beautiful bicycle tour of Jaipur will end. After having breakfast in the morning you will be transferred to the railway station or airport from where you can return home.
