Day 01: Delhi - Leh (Welcome To Leh!)
This morning you will reach Delhi International Airport in the early hours and take a flight from here to Leh. On the way, you will be able to see the amazing view of the snow-clad peaks of high clouds flying over the Himalayan Mountains. You will be provided with the necessary assistance by reaching Leh Airport and you will be transferred to your hotel. Leh is an attractive city where the Buddhist monasteries, palaces, and forts, etc. of Tibetan salary are available. Spend the rest of the day wandering around and acclimatize yourself to the climate of a high altitude like Leh.
Day 02: Leh (Explore the Sights Of Leh)
After having breakfast in the morning, you will go to the sights of Leh today. First of all, you will visit Stoke Palace which was built in 1820 by the Namgyal Dynasty. The palace is a repository of Ladakhi workmanship and artifacts. After this, you will visit Shey Mahal and Thiksey Monastery. Thiksey Monastery is a fine museum of Ladakh objects and is situated in a secluded place on the hilltop. In the evening you will return to your hotel.
Day 03: Leh (Visit the Sangam Confluence)
Today you will visit other sightseeing places of Leh such as Hall of Fame, Gurdwara Pathar Sahib and then Alchi Math. The description of Buddhism and the arts of ancient times Hindu kings in Alchi Math is reflected on the walls of the monastery complex. The magnificent complex of this monastery houses beautiful wooden carvings and huge statues of Mercury. After this sightseeing, you will come back to Leh and stop on the way to have a beautiful view of the confluence of the site of the Zanskar River and the Indus River. In the evening you will reach Leh and visit the Shanti Stupa dedicated to a Buddhist God with white dome atop a hilltop. The stupa was built by the Japanese Buddhist monk Gyomyo Nakamura and is part of the "The Peace Pagoda mission".
Day 04: Leh - Nubra Valley (Travel To Scenic Nubra Valley)
After breakfast in the morning, travel to the Nubra Valley passing the KhardungLa Pass. On reaching the Nubra Valley, you will see two-humped Bactrian camels and meet locals in the Nubra Valley. This beautiful valley is one of the untouched places known for the tribal communities of Ladakh. Sasser Pass and the Karakoram Pass of the famous silk route is located in the northwest direction of Nubra Valley. Here you will also see that breed of goats; by using their wool the famous pashmina shawls are prepared.
Day 05: Nubra Valley (Visit The Ancient Diskit Monastery)
After breakfast this morning, you will visit the sightseers of Nubra Valley. First of all, you will visit the oldest lively monastery Diskit Monastery situated in this beautiful valley and this sacred monastery main attraction is the 100 feet high statue of Maitreya Buddha, which was inaugurated by the Holy Dalai Lama himself. After that, you will go to visit Hunder Sand Dune where you can experience the rare Bactrian Camel two hump camel ride. The beautiful experience of riding the Bactrian Camel in this cold desert cannot be forgotten for a lifetime.
Day 06: Nubra valley - Leh (Travel Back To Leh)
After having breakfast in the morning, you will drive back for Leh from Nubra Valley. On the way, you will see many beautiful nature views and will pass through many rustic areas. Arrive at the hotel in the evening and spend your time as per your wish.
Day 07: Leh - Pangong Lake (Go On A Yak Safari At Pangong Lake)
This morning you will travel from Leh to Pandang Lake. This huge Himalayan lake is 134 kilometers long and extends from India to China. By reaching here, you will be able to see very beautiful views of the mountain ranges around your camp. The water of this lake is salty and its color is crystal blue. With the brightness of the sun, the view of this lake becomes even more spectacular. By reaching here, you can also enjoy a yak ride and spend the evening time watching the views of nature around you.
Day 08: Pangong Lake - Leh (Marvel at Hemis Monastery)
Today you will drive from Pangong Lake back to Leh. On the way, you will stop to visit Hemis Monastery. Hemis Monastery is the largest monastic institution in Ladakh and is the richest monastery of all Buddhist monasteries across India. There is a huge statue of Lord Buddha made of copper and in addition, there are ancient stupas made of gold and silver. A rich museum of remains of ancient Buddhist culture is also present here. There are many frescoes and artifacts related to Buddhism here. By evening you will return to Leh and spend the evening resting as you wish or walking around.
Day 09: Leh (Relax In Leh)
After having breakfast in the hotel in the morning, you can spend the whole day wandering at your will. You can learn about the culture of Ladakh and the lifestyle of the local people here. Leh is the most important city in the Ladakh region and has a number of Tibetan style monasteries, palaces, and forts, whose beauty is amazing. Apart from this, you can enjoy local cuisine by roaming in the local markets and shopping for many traditional items found here.
Day 10: Leh - Delhi (Farewell Leh!)
After breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to Le Airport from where you will fly to Delhi. From Delhi International Airport you can fly back home. This journey, filled with beautiful views of nature, ends here.
