Day 01: Arrival and welcome
Today is your arrival in India. You are welcomed as soon as you arrive at Delhi International Airport and you will be provided with the necessary help. After this, you will be transferred to your hotel. If you allow time after this, you can spend time wandering in the beautiful markets nearby.
Day 02: Sightseeing of Delhi & overnight train to Ranthambore
Today, you will go sightseeing in Delhi and in the evening you will catch a train and travel to Ranthambore. In the morning, first of all, we will go on sightseeing in Old Delhi. Here you will visit the Jama Masjid again after having a panoramic view of the Red Fort. Apart from this, you will go to see the dazzle of the typical market of Chandni Chowk and experience the rickshaw ride here. Later you will be transferred to the railway station from where you will take a train to Sawai Madhopur, a small town near Ranthambore.
Day 03: Ranthambore: morning & evening game drives
This morning, you will reach Ranthambore and check in the hotel and after that, you will go to the jungle for a jeep safari to search for tigers two times today. You have your first jeep safari in Ranthambore National Park in the early morning and the second jeep safari is done late afternoon. In this interesting jeep safari, you will trace tigers in the forests and apart from this, you will get a glimpse of other animals, and birds of other species. You can spend the evening time walking in the vicinity of here.
Day 04: Ranthambhore – Bharatpur (183km 3h)
This morning you take a train from Sawai Madhopur and travel to Bharatpur and there you will visit Keoladeo Ghana National Park which is listed in a World Heritage. This national park is famous as a bird sanctuary and here you will visit the sanctuary through a rickshaw. In this sanctuary, you will be able to see more than 360 species of birds and here you will also get the opportunity to see rare Siberian cranes.
Day 05: Bharatpur – Agra (60km 1h 30m)
Today, you will travel from Bharatpur to Agra and stop for a sightseeing tour at Fatehpur Sikri, a historical place on the way. Made of red sandstone, this ancient Mughal Empire city is a treasure house of very beautiful structures and monuments. This ancient city was built as the capital by Emperor Akbar in 1571 but after 14 years it was relocated to Delhi as there was an acute shortage of water. After this, the city became completely deserted, but the beautiful buildings built in Mughal architecture are preserved even today.
Day 06: Sightseeing of Agra & overnight train to Jabalpur
Today you will go sightseeing in Agra. First of all, you will visit the beautiful marble Taj Mahal situated on the banks of river Yamuna. This beautiful monument was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, whom he loved dearly. Therefore, this monument is also considered a symbol of love and this UNESCO heritage site is also one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After this, you will go sightseeing inside the Red Fort of Agra. In this huge fort, you will see a beautiful palace, gardens, pavilions, courts and other beautiful structures. In the afternoon you will visit other local sightseeing or markets of your choice. Here you can see the descendants of ancient artisans carving on the marble stone. The ancestors of these artisans had once built a beautiful structure like the Taj Mahal. In the evening you will be transferred to the railway station from where you will take a train for Jabalpur and travel overnight.
Day 07: Jabalpur - Kanha national park (145km 4h)
You will be transferred to Kanha National Park by reaching Jabalpur in the morning. After checking in your report in the afternoon, spend your time wandering in the surrounding countryside and see the beauty of the culture of the local people.
Day 08: Kanha: morning & evening game drives
Before breakfast, you will go to Kanha National Park to do a jungle safari. You will be able to capture many species of Bengal tigers, leopards, bison, deer, monkeys and birds in your camera in these beautiful grasslands by sitting on your jeep. This sanctuary is one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in India and for wildlife lovers, it seems like heaven is here.
Day 09: Kanha national park - Bandhavgarh national park (260km 6h)
Today, you will travel to Bandhavgarh National Park and will see the beauty of it while passing through many rural areas on the way. You can also take the option of jeep safari to visit Bandhavgarh National Park and besides this, you can also do jungle safari by sitting on elephant back. After reaching Bandhavgarh in the afternoon, we will check-in at the resort and you can spend the rest of the time roaming around the surrounding areas.
Day 10: Bandhavgarh: morning & evening game drives
Early in the morning, you will go on the game drive by sit on your jeep to see the wildlife of Bandhavgarh National Park. You will also do a similar game drive in the late afternoon. In this exciting jeep safari, you will be able to see many species of animals and birds in the national park. Apart from this, you will also see many ancient ruins situated in the forests. In this sanctuary, you get the most opportunities to see the Royal Bengal Tiger.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh national park – Khajuraho (240km 6h)
Today you will travel to Khajuraho, which is a small district of Chhattarpur in the Bundelkhand region located in Madhya Pradesh. Here Hindu kings of the unique Chandel dynasty have built many temple groups. The idol art made in these temples is very beautiful, to see millions of tourists from all over the country and abroad. Arriving in Khajuraho, you will check-in the hotel and spend the rest of your time relaxing.
Day 12: Khajuraho – Jhansi by surface and train to Delhi
This morning you will visit the Western and Eastern temple groups of Khajuraho. These temples were built between 950 and 1050 AD and there are more than 100 different temples here. Each temple here is dedicated to a different deity and the artisans of sculpture here are considered the best sculptors of India. After visiting the beautiful temples you will travel to Jhansi. From Jhansi, you will take a train to Delhi.
Day 13: Delhi sightseeing and late evening transfer to the airport
After having breakfast in Delhi in the morning you will visit the sightseeing places in New Delhi. You will visit Humayun's Tomb and India Gate today. In the evening you will be transferred to the international airport from where you will be able to fly back to your home.
