Tour Overview

This tour gives a glimpse of the wildlife of the state of Gujarat in India, in which you will visit a variety of wildlife sanctuaries. In this tour, you will see Blackbuck Sanctuary, Gir National Park which is famous for lions, Khijadia and Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary, marine Sanctuary, Reptile Sanctuary, and remote village life. Apart from this, on this tour, you will also see the Statue of Unity, which is currently the highest statue in the world. In this tour, you will visit many cultural cities of Gujarat and see the diverse culture and heritage of the place.

Tour Details

Day 01: Arrive Ahmedabad by Air or Rail

Today you will be warmly welcomed by our team upon arrival at Ahmedabad Airport and after that; you will be transferred to your hotel in a comfortable car. After this, you will be taken to Indura Park in Gandhinagar and you will spend the evening on the banks of Kankaria Lake.

Day 02: Ahmedabad - Nalsarovar - Ahmedabad full-day excursion

In the early morning, you will go to Nalsarovar National Park to see migratory birds. In Ishq Bird Sanctuary, migratory birds travel thousands of kilometers to spend their winters. Returning to breakfast, you will return to Ahmedabad and will visit Gandhi Ashram, Adaljestepvel and Sarkhejroja here. You will spend the evening strolling in the local markets.

Day 03: Ahmedabad - Lothal - Velavadar (Blackbuck sanctuary) by surface 155Kms

After breakfast this morning you will leave for Velavadar and on the way, you will stop to visit a place called Lothal. Lothal is an ancient city that was a major part of the Indus Valley Civilization. This ancient place preserves the history of 2400 BC. The city was discovered in 1954. You will leave for Velavadar and reach there by evening.

Day 04: Velavadar - Sasan Gir (Gir National Park) by surface 220 Kms

The Velavadar National Park is a vast plain of grass and you will go here for a safari after breakfast. Blackbucks, Nilgais, etc. are found in this national park. The main hunters of this wild area are wolves and here you can see spotted hyena stealing wolves. You can also see the opportunistic wildlife jackal here. You can usually see foxes and wild cats in this beautiful sanctuary of India. The main attraction of this wild sanctuary is the Blackbucks which has long and twisted horns. After having lunch, you will leave for Sasan Gir National Park. After reaching there in the evening, you will dam Kamleshwar where the main attraction is the crocodile breeding farm.

Day 05: Sasan Gir - Jamnagar by Surface 195 Kms

After breakfast in the morning, you will go for a safari in Sasan Gir National Park. This sanctuary is famous for the Asiatic lions where you can capture them by capturing them in your camera while walking by victory. After lunch, you can go to other sightseeing places here. Here you can see some rare species of birds in Deoria National Park. Here you can see sand grouse, cuckoo, bush quail, paradise flycatcher, eagles, and parrots, etc. Later you will travel to Jamnagar and after reaching there you can spend the evening watching the panoramic view of Lakhota Lake.

Day 06: Jamnagar - Khijadia - Marine Sanctuary - Jamnagar 25 Kms

In the morning, after breakfast, you will go to visit Khichdi or Bird Sanctuary, 10 km from Jamnagar. Here you will see purple moorhen, little grebe, black-winged stilt, coot and Pheasant-tailed Jacana, etc. and this is the breeding ground of all these birds. After this, you will leave for Marine National Park in Jamnagar which is India's first marine sanctuary. This is a deep group of 42 lamps known for their mangroves and coral reefs and is home to a wide variety of sea creatures.

Day 07: Jamnagar - Nakhatrana by surface 320 Kms

After breakfast in the morning, you will go for a tour of the Naliya Grassland. This surgery is famous for Bustard Bird, here you will see Chinkara and Spiny-tailed-Lizard. Walking here you will also see the beautiful view of the sunset and in the evening you will return to your resort in Nalsarovar.

Day 08: Full day excursion to Great white rann of Kutch & Banni Village

After breakfast in the morning, you will leave for the White Desert and travel to Bunny Grass Land, where you can see wolf, foxes and desert cats. In Banni Village, you will see the traditional grass houses and handicrafts, etc. The dress, food and living sentence here is very amazing. In the evening you will come back to the resort.

Day 09: Nakhatrana - Dasada (Little Rann Of Kutch) by surface approx 325 Kms.

After breakfast in the morning, you will travel to Little Run of Kutch, the view of the open and empty unlimited grounds here is very unique. There is a different kind of wildlife in the open land here, which will give you a beautiful option to see.

Day 10: Dasada - Modhera - Patan - Ahmedabad by surface approx 147 Kms.

After breakfast in the morning, you will go for a safari in Little Ran of Kutch. Here you will see Asian wild ass which is the major attraction here. Also here you will see Short-eared Owls, Long-legged Buzzard, Lesser Kestrel who is a Harrier, etc. chasing desert rates. Later you will return to Ahmedabad and see Modhera Sun Temple there.

Day 11: Ahmedabad to Statue of Unity same day Excursion

After breakfast in the morning, you will visit the Statue of Unity, which is the tallest statue in the world. This statue has been built in memory of Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel, a politician and freedom fighter from India. Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel built this huge nation by gathering all the princely states of India, so this statue symbolizes the unity of a diverse nation like India. The height of this statue is 182 meters and it is situated on an island in the river. This statue is built with a dam called Sardar Sarovar.

Day 12: Ahmedabad/Onward destination

After breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station, after which you will be able to travel to your next destination.
