Tour Overview

Char Dham Yatra is considered the path of salvation and religious faith in Hinduism in India. In this tour, major pilgrimage sites like Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath are located in North India. Apart from this, many religious places like Guptkashi, Haridwar, Rishikesh are also visited on this tour. Every person who believes in Hinduism, whether in any corner of the world, wants to attain the virtue of doing it once in their life.

Tour Details

Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (214 kms/5hrs)

On the first day, your journey starts from Delhi and goes to Haridwar. Haridwar is considered the gateway to the gods according to Hindu mythology. The gods have left their footprints in Haridwar. Haridwar is also considered to be the gate of salvation according to Hinduism, so after every Hindu's death, the ashes of his body are brought to Haridwar to flow into the Ganges River. In the evening you get the virtue of watching the Ganga Aarti happening every day on Har Ki Pauri.

Day 02: Haridwar - Barkot (175 kms/7 hrs)

This morning you will travel to Barkot and by noon you will reach your hotel there, passing through many rural areas. Barkot is surrounded by beautiful snowy hills from all sides and this place has been blessed by nature with very beautiful views. From here one can see the snow-capped peaks of Bandar punch as the horizon. After coming to the place you will feel the experience of coming to heaven.

Day 03: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (38 kms/2 hrs drive & 7 kms/3 hrs trek one side)

Today, you will trek 7 km to visit the Yamunotri pilgrimage site in 3 hours trekking. After reaching Phoolchatti here, you will see Yamuna Devi Temple on the banks of the river. After this, you can take a holy dip by taking a dip in the natural sources of water filled with hot water here. You can cook rice in a bundle of boiling water in natural water sources here and also perform the usual worship rituals performed by the devotees. Later in the evening, you will come back to Barkot.

Day 04: Barkot - Harsil (174 kms/7 hrs)

Today you will travel to Harsil which is one of the most beautiful trains in the world. On the way here, you will also visit a place called Gangnani where you will see one of the hot water natural springs. On reaching Harsil you will check-in at the hotel.

Day 05: Harsil - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (110 km 3 Hrs)

Today you will travel to Uttarkashi, passing through the path of Gangotri. On the way, you will pass by seeing the beauty of many rural areas. Gangotri is the cradle of the sacred Ganges River and is also originally called Bhagirathi. After reaching here, you will relax for some time in the surrounding beautiful environment and later you will pass through many rural areas on the route to Uttarkashi and will reach Uttarkashi by evening and check-in the hotel.

Day 06: Uttarkashi - Guptakashi (230 km/ 8 hrs)

This morning you will travel to Guptkashi through the countryside. Upon reaching Guptkashi, you will visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Guptkashi is a very religious place located in Kedarkhand in Rudraprayag district.

Day 07: Guptakashi - Kedarnath (32 km drive/1 hrs & 14 km trek / 4 Hrs)

Early this morning you will travel to Gaurikund and take a holy bath at Taptakund there. After which you will travel to Kedarnath. By reaching Kedarnath by evening, you will visit the Kedarnath temple and see Lord Shiva and will participate in the evening worship and aarti.

Day 08: Kedarnath - Guptakashi - (14 km trek/3 hrs & 32 km drive/1hrs)

Today, you will go back to Gaurikund while tracking in the morning. From Gaurikund, you will ride in a car and travel back to Guptkashi.

Day 09: Guptakashi - Joshimath (175 km / 6-7 hrs)

Today you will travel to Joshimath in the morning. On the way, you will pass through many beautiful sites and medicinal forests and reach Joshimath by evening. In the evening you will spend time wandering around in Joshimath as per your wish.

Day 10: Joshimath - Badrinath - Joshimath (45 km drive one way/ 2 Hrs)

This morning you will travel for the holy darshan of Badrinath. On the way, you will also visit Mana village. After visiting the Badrinath pilgrimage site during the day and seeing Lord Shiva, he will return to Joshimath in the evening.

Day 11: Joshimath - Haridwar /Rishikesh (274 km/ 9-10 hrs)

This morning you will reach Haridwar by passing through many beautiful areas and will first check-in the hotel as soon as you arrive. For the rest of the day, you can freely visit this religious place and see many religious activities happening here.

Day 12: Haridwar /Rishikesh - Delhi (214 kms/6 hrs)

Today, you will travel back to Delhi, where your journey will end by arriving. From here you can take a train or flight to return to your home.
