Day 01: Chennai (Welcome to the Cultural Capital)
You are warmly welcomed upon arrival at Chennai International Airport in India. On your arrival, you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel. On the way, you will see the amazing views of this cultural city and as soon as you step into India, you will realize how full of excitement your upcoming tour will be.
Day 02: Chennai (Do Chennai like it should be done)
After having breakfast, your visit to Chennai today is going to be very full of excitement. The city tour will begin with St. George's Fort which was built in 1653 by the East India Company under the British Raj. Apart from this, other important and historical sites of Chennai such as High Court Building Marina Beach Theosophical Society and National Museum will also visit the places of visit. Finally, you will visit the famous monument named Valluvar Kottam which is dedicated to the classical Tamil poet and philosopher Valluvar.
Day 03: Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (166 kms/3.5 hrs)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will travel to Pondicherry. On the way, we will visit a place called Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram was the capital of the great Pallava kings of Kanchipuram state. There are beautiful temples, man-made ancient caves and big chariots made of stones to be seen in this beautiful place on the seashore. Every structure here has a very beautiful and stunning sculpture. The sculpture here depicts scenes from day to day life during the Pallava rule. After reaching Pondicherry in the evening, we will check-in the hotel.
Day 04: Pondicherry - Thanjavur - Trichy (204 km/ 4hrs)
After having breakfast, you will travel to Trichy and on the way stop for a walk to a place called Thanjavur aka Tanjore. Thanjavur has a lot of scenic spots that you will visit today, some of the prominent are Thanjavur Palace, Art Gallery, Museum Hall, and Schwartz Church. Apart from this, Thanjavur is also the main center for classical arts like dance and music. After that, we will continue our journey to Trichy. Trichy city has great importance in all three forms of industrial, educational and religious. Trichy has industries of commodities such as diamonds, cigars, handmade clothes, and glass bangles. Apart from this, there are many temples in Trichy, which have beautiful carvings and sculptures inside them.
Day 05: Trichy - Madurai (Three temples in one) (138 kms/2 hrs)
After breakfast in the morning, you will go for a tour of Srirangam Temple and Rock Fort Temple, the main attractions of Trichy. There is mainly a museum of three temples here. The basement of the hill is the Manikka Vinayaka temple and near the top is the temple of Uchi Pillayar Koil and from top to right and the Taayumunavar Koil (Shivasthalam). After visiting these beautiful temples, we will travel to Madurai. Madurai is known as Temple City. In which the main attraction here is the Meenakshi Temple. Arriving at Madhuri in the evening, we will check-in the hotel.
Day 06: Madurai (A divine day of palaces and temples)
After breakfast in the morning, Tirumalai Nayak will go to visit the palace complex. This beautiful palace is a mixed form of Dravidian and Islamic architecture. In the afternoon you will visit the Meenakshi Temple. You will see four beautifully elevated carved towers of this beautiful temple. The temple complex has a beautiful temple on the central part dedicated to Shiva and Meenakshi.
Day 07: Madurai - Kovalam (Escape to the beach in Kovalam) (307 km/ 6 hrs)
In the morning we will travel to Kovalam and arrive at Kovalam and check-in at a beautiful and luxurious resort located on the beach. Kovalam beach is the most famous beach in Kerala and there are fantastic restaurants on this beach. Here you can enjoy many types of seafood along the seashore with deep blue waters. Apart from this, you can also experience a traditional Ayurvedic massage which is also considered as an alternative treatment medium here. Spending the night in the hotel here will give you a much more comfortable experience than is possible in the world of hospitality.
Day 08: Kovalam (Beach relax as only you know how)
You can spend the day in your own way. Today you can enjoy swimming on the beach or take advantage of massage therapy. Many of the food stalls located on the beach can enjoy delicious sea cuisine. Apart from this, you also have the option to visit Kanyakumari which is the last point in the south of India. Kanyakumari has cultural and religious significance in India.
Day 09: Kovalam - Alleppy (A houseboat experience like no other) (160 kms/4 hrs)
This morning you will go to Alleppey and check in the houseboat. When your house board passes through the backwaters of the narrow canals of Kerala, you will feel like you are passing through a beautiful blue water road. The houseboat passes through a remote tribal village where you will see the delightful rural views, the jute jaggery communities, local shopkeepers, fishing people and the beautiful view of the large paddy fields.
Day 10: Alleppy - Munnar (A drive through incomparable beauty) (172 kms/5 hrs)
After experiencing the beautiful experience of staying on a houseboat, today you will travel to Munnar, a hill station. The tea gardens of Munnar are so beautiful that you will see the spread of these gardens all around to the horizon. On the way, you will also see the beautiful waterfalls, rubber, cardamom, pepper plantation and the immense beauty of dense forests. After reaching Munnar, you will be chatting in the hotel, after that, you can sleep a restful sleep to eliminate the fatigue of the day.
Day 11: Munnar (All of Munnar's picturesque sights)
After having breakfast you will visit all the sightseeing places in Mannar. You will visit Bhairavi Kulam National Park and also visit attractive picnic spots like Mattupatti Dam. Apart from this, you will also visit the Tea Museum located in Munnar where you will be able to see the methods and machines to make them in different ways. In the evening you will return to the hotel and rest.
Day 12: Munnar - Cochin (Cochin's Kathakali Dance Spectacular) (131 kms/4 hrs)
Today you will go to Cochin; the commercial capital of Kerala, Cochin is also the finest natural harbor in the world. In the afternoon you will visit the Chinese fishing net and see the traditional fishing here. In the evening you will enjoy a Kathakali dance performance.
Day 13: Cochin
After breakfast in the morning you will visit Dutch Palace Jewish Street and St. Francis Church, after which you will also visit the local markets, where you can also shop for many items related to Jewish culture.
Day 14: Cochin - Onward (All good things...)
After the Cochin sightseeing, now your journey ends here. You will be transferred to Cochin International Airport in the morning from where you will be able to take a flight back to your home.
